ByeBye Beach

Leaving the OBX today was extremely hard. I guess I lost track of time for a few weeks and coming back down was a real reality check. I need to remind myself to remember the special moments with my Mom, the quiet moments spent with friends looking for shells (or in my case, Sea Glass), or just watching the sunset and sharing jokes and a margarita. Still think I should have chained myself to the pillars then maybe the owners would just let me live in their house. On the happy side, I got my doggie, Kelby, back from Camp Poodle. We are both relieved to be reuinited again.

  1. Hi. Welcome to the blogging community. I have learned about you through sister Andrea from Arise 2 Write. May God cover you with His comfort and guide you with His divine wisdom through your words. I am a correctional nurse who had seen patients with anxiety/panic attacks and I know that it's not fun. May the Lord bring you healing and I pray that all your worries and fears, you will cast upon His loving hands. God bless you.

  2. I too stopped by here after reading about your beginning a blog from Andrea. I would have found my way here anyway because I love your blog title.

I too am a collector of sea glass. I love it because it's so beautiful and each piece is unique. It was something sharp and ready to cut, tear and destroy and once it becomes tossed amongst the waves for a period of time, it becomes soft and smooth and something valued and collected.

I can't wait to continue to read more about you and you are too like those beautiful pieces of sea glass that are crafted into something desirable and worthwhile.

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  3. Beautiful post from a beautiful heart.

I am sure you and Kelby are glad to be back together. My furry kids are attached to my legs. They will not let me out of their site.

    LOVE YA, andrea
